User Customisation - Deploying Global Layouts

Outcomes: Gain an understanding of how to deploy global layouts in myData.

Summary Layout

To use a global summary page layout for all users.

First configure the layout on your own computer
Next browse to the local file path (listed below) and copy this file to the global file path (listed below)
Finally by changing the files properties to read-only will stop any other user from changing the layout

{myData Share Directory}\Layout\{Asset category}\summaryTab\summaryPage.xml

%Appdata%\Assetic\MyData Premium\Layout\{Asset category}\summaryTab\summaryPage.xml

In this context, Tree View refers to the asset list, in a category in the left panel of the interface.

The 'Customise (Tree) View' button is located below the tree view.
